To celebrate 21 years of Northern Ireland Hospice’s children’s in-patient unit, this design is a checkerboard (in a nod to the original Elmer) of the 168 painted frames that make up the 21 second frame-by-frame animation ‘Now, we dance’. In this 21 second animation, celebrating 21 years of the incredible resilience of staff and patients at NI Hospice, children dance and frolic creating a timeline of colourful moving shapes. By using the app ‘Artivive’ you can point at one of the squares on Elmer’s checkerboard of frames to witness it come to life on your device.
