Design Inspiration

Born in East Belfast in 1898, C.S Lewis’s inspiration for the landscape of his popular Narnia series of books came from Northern Ireland – in particular the North Coast where he spent his summers. The breath-taking mountains and countryside inspired the beloved Narnia embedded in the imaginations of millions of readers. With a legacy that continues to this day, we want an Elmer that acknowledges the important part the beauty of Northern Ireland played in inspiring C.S Lewis to write the Narnia series.
