Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail is well under way as the must do family fun day out this summer and we are delighted that KPMG have sponsored an Elmer sculpture, (Chess Elmer) for the duration of the trail.
KPMG’s elephant, named ‘Chess Elmer’ was beautifully designed and created by local artist and sculptor, Brendan Jamison. The sculpture was placed in Lanyon Plaza, close to the KPMG offices and near to the Waterfront Hall and St George’s Market.
Chess Elmer has already proven to be a popular sculpture on the trail as the most voted for sculpture on the Elmer Belfast app over the first four weeks!
Dominic Mudge, Partner at KPMG in Northern Ireland, said, “KPMG is delighted to be playing a part in Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail, one which is sure to capture the imagination of families in Belfast throughout the summer. We’re immensely proud of our Chess Elmer which will help shine a spotlight on the vital work which Northern Ireland Hospice carry out.”
“Being close to our office in the Soloist Building, we are able to keep a close eye on Chess Elmer and offer a helping hand to any families following the trail. Thanks to Northern Ireland Hospice for partnering with KPMG and thanks to Brendan Jamison for designing such a wonderful sculpture.”
Be sure to check out the family-friendly Chess Elmer sculpture on the trail and tick it off your collection using the Elmer Belfast App!
