Ryobi joins the herd for Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail

Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail just keeps growing and growing with Ryobi Aluminium Casting UK as the latest local business to join the growing herd of sponsors for the event. Ryobi produces aluminium parts for the automotive industry and we’re hoping that their involvement will help Elmer keep on trucking throughout the 10 weeks of the trail.

The trail which kicks off on June 20th will see over 70 Elmer sculptures, including the Learning Herd of ‘Wee Elmers’ placed at various landmarks across Belfast. The sculptures will appear across the city in a fun-filled trail for 10 weeks.

The very special family-friendly event is organised by Northern Ireland Hospice in partnership with Wild in Art and Andersen Press. It will be completely free for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Ryobi’s sponsorship will see them sponsor their own Elmer sculpture for the duration of the trail, and join other event sponsors, artists, schools, youth clubs, community groups, the media, councils, and businesses organisations, who have all come together to help deliver the event in aid of Northern Ireland Hospice.

Marco Emig, Managing Director from Ryobi said, “Ryobi are delighted to take part in such a great event in support of such a great local organisation. We will do our best, as I am sure the other sponsors will, to make this a success”.
